About the Author
Holly Murtaugh grew up in the small town of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, where she still lives today with her husband, son, and their silver Labrador, Rufus. Inspired by a family trip to the Outer Banks, Holly began imagining the adventures Rufus might have if he befriended a clever little crab named Reggie. Those daydreams became Rufus & Reggie, her debut children’s book.A lifelong lover of animals, adventure, and heartwarming stories, Holly enjoys creating tales that make children laugh while celebrating kindness, courage, friendship, and connection. Through Rufus and Reggie, she hopes to remind readers that some of life’s most memorable friendships can be found in the most unexpected places.When she’s not writing, Holly enjoys spending time with family, exploring new adventures, and finding inspiration in everyday moments.
